Hope you enjoy them. Helping Ruma 'The Puma'You must be wondering why we put these pictures. We put those pictures because a grade two girl called Ruma has seizures and if you do not know what seizure is this is the meaning: seizure is a type of unspreadable disease thats got something to do with the brain. Sometimes you could collapse then might wake up not knowing what happened. So that’s why Mr Blair’s class and some friends made that card. We also donated 2000 dhs to help with getting her to Germany for some speciality doctors to see if they can help her. We also gave her a surprise chocolate!!! But that is only if Mr Wade did not eat them.

Australian Day Kangaroo Cake...mmmmm |
Our amazing cake supplied by Piece of CakeAs you can see, 4A were rather spoilt on Australian Day, when the famous company of Piece of Cakerocked on up to class, with a monster sized Kangaroo cake. 4A had only just finished making fruit jellies as part of their procedure writing, when in hopped a Chocolate Kangaroo. After filling our bellies with fruit jellies and a sausage sizzle, surely these kids could not squeeze any more food in.....?
After much oooohhs and aarrrrrring, Ahmed and Dheyab decided it was time to cut into the Kangaroo's head off and check out her brain. Well this did not seem to make the kids of 4A squirm with disgust..rather squirm with excitement as I could see drool dribbling down the side of Hannah and Evelyn's mouths (just like a drip of wet paint does when it ever so slowly slides down the page) before landing ever so delicately on the classroom floor, in a perfect circle. MMMMMM...chocolate. All the grade 4 kids got to fill their belly with this mouth watering chocolate Kangaroo. Thank you very much to Ahmed and Dheyab's family, who truely made Australian Day, the sweetest day ever. |
