World Maths Day 2011 is over.

Well done to all kids who joined in the World Maths Day camp and made it a huge success. AIS yet again rocked the world with 4 teams finishing in the top 50 teams in the world. In the age 8-10years section, we had AIS Team Aqua finish 28th and AIS Team Orange finish an amazing 3rd in their section. We also had Barbod 'the bionic bee' finish 84th, Mahmoud 'the maths dude' finish 40th and Kanganroo 'who escaped from the zoo' finish a super 13th world wide in their section.
In the age group of 11-13 years, we had Thomas 'the tank engine toot toot' finish 71st, Mandira 'the fox terrier' finish 58th and Caleb Lee 'faster than a cat up a tree' finish a grand 13th. In the teams event, we had AIS Team Emerald finish 30th with the super duper AIS Team Black scorch up the leader board in the final hours to sit in the incredible postion of 2nd in the world. Remembering that 5,300,000 kids from over 218 countries joined in to partake in this colossal, humungous, gargantuan 2011 World Maths Day event. Click here to view the results.
